Let me start by saying....yes I know this is over a week late, my plate has been very full. Enjoy.
Starting with Jeana:
If you recall episode 12 ended with Jeana about to go on a blind date. That is where we pick up. Her date is Allen. He resides in AZ. They are heading to the St. Regis for her birthday. They make small talk over dinner.
Next Vicki:
Briana stops by her moms office to discuss joining the Army - Nursing program. Briana is upset that she was the only one there w/o a parent. Vicki didn't attend - she thought it was just passing conversation. The conversation then turns to Colby. Yes they did break up, actually he broke up with her. They met in high school as Juniors, they were together 5 yrs. She hasn't talked to Colby since, he totally broke her heart. She is doing this for herself, not for Colby. She hopes for Germany in September 2009.
Now Lynne:
Raquel is asking for gas $$$ from her sister. And little sister won't give it. Then she goes to her mom. Lynne asks her about getting a job. Then the possibility of going to school.
We are now at the entire cast end of season party:
Vicki is hosting it at The Cliffs in Laguna Beach.
Simon pulls Tamra aside along with the kids (her bday) and Simon gives Tamra a beautiful 10 caret diamond bracelet - $35,000. Bling Bling Tamra. You are very lucky, it pays to be the hottest housewife!
Tammy Knickerbocker shows up with her boyfriend and 2 daughters.
Lauri and her entire family are in attendance as well.
Gretchen's dad reads a note from Jeff - in short he got her a motorcycle - pink.
Kimberly from season 1 shows up as well.
Jo & Slade show up as well.
To sum it all up:

Lauri and George "with seven kids to parent, Lauri & George still have not taken their honeymoon.
Ashley hopes to launch her skincare line later this year. She is currently attending broadcasting school.
Josh was released from jail and entered a sober living facility. He's been sober for eight months.
Lynne finally got tough and took Raquel's car away....for three weeks.
Raquel finally got a job as an Assistant manger at a boutique....and got her car back
Alexa turned 16 and is asking for a car in her style....a Range Rover
Vicki received a second Rolex, not from Donn but from her peers in the insurance industry.
Briana's plan to join the Army is on hold. She is exploring other employment options.
Michael became the first one in his family to earn a college degree.
Tamra no longer wants a pink motorcycle.
Simon's tequila business is thriving in tough economic times.
Ryan was injured at work. While he recuperates, he's taking college classes....online
Jeana and Allen are now just friends.....she continues to look for Mr. Right
Colton is single right now, and is preparing to go to his winter formal....with 3 girls
Kara has settled into Berkeley, but wants to transfer to UCLA to be with her boyfriend
Shane is still pursuing his dream of playing in the majors. He finished the season with a .244 batting average

Sorry this recap is coming nearly a week late. I have been busy busy busy. To add on to that, that I exercise every evening for at least 30 min that leaves me with little time to blog.
We start this week with Vicki on her Cruise.
It is her LIFE with Vicki cruise. As expected, everyone is so happy and excited to meet the one and the only Vicki. Vicki brought Donn, Michael and his friend Reese. This is great, they have a climbing wall on the cruise. I don't believe it, Vicki is doing the rock wall. Vicki does make it all the way to the top. That was great!! Donn is at the bar drinking while Vicki was climbing.
Back to Vicki on the cruise. Everyone is at dinner. Vicki is telling Michael and Reese their schedule for tomorrow. Neither one seems interested. They mainly want to party.
It is now the next full working day for the Life with Vicki conference cruise. Vicki starts explaining her background. BTW she is 46, mama you are HOT for 46! We hear short stories from the attendees. .
Michael and Reese have let Vicki down. They didn't bother to show. Danielle the assistant had to track them down. Michael and Vicki have a heart to heart and Michael tells her he doesn't really want any part of her business. Poor Vicki. She feels her family is not supporting her business, however it is her business that supports the family. Michael meets up with Donn at the bar.
Next Jeana:
She is getting Kara ready to head back to college. This year Kara has gotten an apartment. She didn't like the dorm life. Uncle Richie comes from San Diego to help Jeana and Kara with the move.
Back to Jeana. It is driving day to Berkly. Frankie shows up for the drive as well. Uncle Richie drives separately with most of Kara's things. It is a 7 hr drive from Orange to Berkley. During the drive Jeana and Kara bitch back and forth about each others driving.
Jeana again. They stop off at Frankie's storage cottage home. Kara grabs what she wants to furnish her new pad. They have arrived in Berkley. Now for the unpacking.
Kara shows her mom the "tree people". The homeless scare Kara. Jeana mentions they don't have bums in Orange.
Jeana is back in Coto. It is her Bday. For her Bday is has a date. Congrats Jeana, you so deserve it! Jeana asks Colton for his opinion on her two dresses. They date is with a parent from another team member of Shane's. The guy lives out of town, but that works for Jeana. The kids are very happy for Jeana going on this date. Jeana's date concludes this episode of RHOC, it is to be continued.
Next Gretchen:
She is in Dallas to visit her girlfriends from college. Right before the trip Jeff went back into the hospital due to a fever. Once again, who in their right mind if they truly love someone who is so sick would travel, especially when he goes back into the hospital. She is showing that she is a gold digger, by her actions to me. She can say what she wants, but actions show the truth. Once again she complains about the Jeff stress. News alert, babe, it is not stress if you truly love that person, its life.
It is a new day and Gretchen and the girls head out to The Stoneleigh for drinks and what not. This time however the girls bring their babies. Here we go again, Gretchen is complaining about Jeff's cancer. She mentions how it has been a very long 9 mos. I feel sorry for Jeff not having his GF around when he needs her the most!
Next Tamra:
The family minus Simon head to Cedar Rapids, IA to visit her dad. She hasn't seen her dad in a year. First visit to IA. Her dads home had major damage to the flood of 2008.
Back to Tamra. She and the family including some family members she hasn't met head out to Osaka Japanese Steakhouse in IA for dinner. Ryan is having great fun with his distant cousin.
She and her dad head to a small lake and have a heart to heart. She lays her feels out for her dad. They had a wonderful heart to heart. They both laid their feelings out. Very health. Hopefully this had mended their relationship.
Lastly, Lynne:
She and Frank head out to Coronado Bay Resort, San Diego, CA 4000 Coronado Bay Rd. for a romantic weekend. They had an ocean view room. They start with a nice dinner on the balcony. Back home are the girls with grandma. Over dinner they discuss the girls and what has been happening. First a car accident then Lynne finds cigarettes and she and Frank honestly think they don't belong to Alexia. Ah hello, are you two even qualified to be parents? Sorry to be so harsh, but are you kidding me. Yes they are hers. How stupid do you have to be. Money has really made you stupid! Frank asks Lynne for a poll dance show.
Next week:
Is the season finale. Then for those of you who wish to waste your time, you can shoot yourself while you watch the Real Housewives of New York. I can't believe they are actually having season 2 of that one. As an avid Real Housewives watcher, that is definitely the worst of them all. You won't find me watching it. They should have done away with NY and extended the amount of episodes for Orange County.

Recap Season 4 Episode 11 2-3-09

Sorry for the delay in posting. It has been a very long busy trying week to say the least.
We start this week with Tamra:
Tamra takes her mom out to lunch, 4 week surgery anniversary. Tamra has anger towards her dad. Tamra is trying to find her mom a man. Tamra got close to her mom after her mom's divorce.
Next is Vicki:
She and Briana are shopping for scrubs. Briana does not like the pattern scrubs, she is plain Jane. Vicki is very proud of Briana.
Back to Vicki, she and the ladies will be heading of to Vegas. Briana stops by for a quick meal. Briana is currently working in the Trauma/ER area. Briana likes what she does, but it is hard on her at times. During dinner they discuss the yacht. Brianna thinks her mom should sell the Coto home, not the AZ home. Vicki feels Donn & Briana are being mean over the yacht. Vicki decides not to do the yacht, and keep the River home (AZ).
Next Jeana:
We start at her sister's home in WI. Her dad lost vision due to diabetes. Her parents have been married 50+ years. Growing up Jeana was taken camping, fishing etc by her dad.
Back to WI. Jeana and Janis are out walking/talking. It was great seeing her family, however she doesn't want to go back to her WI life.
Next is Lynne:
She is at her mom's home having drinks. Lynne tells her mom that Raquel had several drinks during her cocktail party. Raquel has no direction, which has Lynne concerned. Lynne's dad was in the military, and ran a tight ship. Lynne's mom feels her grand daughters have too much. Lynne just tries to make everyone happy, she is an enabler.
Now Gretchen:
Jeff is home from the hospital. His 3 kids are there as well. Jeff was in the hospital for 2 mos. Jeff has very little strength, they are just having a family dinner. Gretchen feels having his kids there brightens his spirits. Jeff's kids are fine with helping Gretchen out so she and go and do stuff. Jeff looks most forward to sleeping through the night. And surprise surprise.....Gretchen already has a girls weekend planned. I mean come on, the man you say you love so much just get home from the hospital and you are out the door in two blinks. That is so wrong on every level. Regardless if his children are there or not.
All of the ladies head to Vegas:
They stayed at the Red Rock Casino. It was VIP all the way. They had a 8 man jacuzzi, pool table, you name it. 5 star all the way. They toasted truce. Lynne is worried, since she has not done an overnight with the ladies. They then head to the VIA Pool & Cabana. Jeana is looking for a man. Gretchen has a hottie whistle. *oh brother*. The whistle is bugging Vicki. Gretchen is all about the attention. Jeana tells Lynne she is boring but they are tolerating her. While there, Vicki gets a phone call from Briana, saying she and Colby are having issues.
The ladies are now at the casino playing Black Jack. Vicki finds Black Jack to be an easy game, and it bugged her that the ladies were not catching on ie Gretchen. After a game of Black Jack they head out to dinner. Gretchen stole Vicki's favorite drink. Which is blue cheese stuffed olive Gray Goose dirty martini. Copy cat. Lynne didn't know she had AC in her home. Gretchen and Lynne head to the bathroom. After dinner they head over the club for some dancing. Gretchen & Lynne got totally crazy. Tamra felt the two were an embarrassment.

Here it is....
We start this week with Vicki and Jeana in Chicago.
Vicki and Jeana visit with a couple of Vicki's old school friends. Vicki hopes Jeana sees that she is a real person. Vicki prefers Chicago because she can be real, she doesn't feel that way in Coto.
We are now back to Chicago. While in Chicago they visit Kimberly Bryant from season 1, who moved to Chicago. Over lunch the ladies discuss letting their kids have sex. Vicki does not believe in it. While out Vicki sits on the lap of one of her friends husbands, and then Donn calls.
Vicki and Jeana are driving from Chicago to Kane county to watch Shane. As it turns out, he is not playing that day and he does not want her there. While driving there he texts Jeana very hateful messages. They both arrive at Elfstrom Stadium - Kane Co. Cougars Minor League Team. They do get on the field and pass him on the field. Although at that he storms off the field. Jeana flew in Colton and Shane's GF. As it turns out Shane does play. Shane 2nd at bat made triple and was player of the game.
They then head out to dinner. Shane was terrible towards his mom the entire time.
Now on to Tamra:
She is with her mom to get surgery. Her mom is getting a face lift. After the surgery her mom is going to an after care center.
Back to Tamra. Her brother(s) and wife show up and they reminisce over photos. Tamra has the fear that if something makes her really happy it will be taken from her. Her parents divorced when she was 25. Her dad now lives in IA. She hasn't seen him in 7 mos.
On to Lynne:
She and her daughters head to a spa. Although Raquel can only stay 15 min. She and her BF have plans. They then head over to one of Lynne's friends homes to play tennis.
The ladies are now back from Chicago and head over to Lynne's for a party. During the party her daughter Raquel showed up with some friends and began drinking.
Now to Gretchen:
She is visiting Paul a friend of she and Jeff's. Gretchen is considering investing in Lava Gym. Jeff is not present due to his treatments.
Next Week:
Takes place in Vegas and it gets wild. Gretchen and Lynne let it all hang out on the dance floor. It is a ladies weekend.

Finally here is the recap from Tuesday's episode. Please keep in mind this is part 2.
When we left off last week, Ryan was attempting to get it on with Gretchen.
We start this week where we left off, at Tamra's home:
Gretchen tells Ryan she likes Ryan a lot and he turns her on, totally. She won't make out with Ryan because he is Tamra's younger son. What a good reason. How about because you are engaged to another man. Some women will never learn. Lynne and Frank are leaving the party and offer Gretchen a ride home. Tamra suggests Gretchen stay at the house.
We pick back up with Tamra, she is hosting the stay at home pool party. Gretchen shows up with her two "kids" - dogs. She briefly talks about last nights party. Before you know it, Ryan shows up. Most likely because of Gretchen. Ryan trys to pick up where they left off. Tamara and Gretchen discuss the party with the other mom's. The conversation changes to Tamra's friends' CJ's new boobs. Gretchen swares that nothing happened between her and Ryan at the party. Ryan shows his lip tattoo to the moms'.
Next up is Lynne:
The next day after Tamra's party Lynne calls and checks in on Gretchen, however Lynne gets Voice Mail and leaves a message.
Back to Lynne. She is starting up a jewelry line - bracelets. They retail between $225-375. Her goal is to reach the higher end stores. Alexa shows up and gives some opinions.
Fred Segal reps come to Lynne's home to see her collection.
Next Jeana:
Jeana has kicked Matt out of the home and moved him into his own apartment. Jeana talks about this and that. Mainly her depression this past summer and where she currently stands. Kara then comes into the picture and gives her take on her mom and dad. Jeana is still tying to cope. Her personal trainer John Ellis shows up and they catch up on what has been happening lately and head off on a 10 mile walk.
Back to Jeana, she is hosting a networking party. Le Tip. Vicki receives an award for starting up the Coto de Coza chapter.
Back to Jeana. She and Gretchen meet at Charlie Palmer for lunch. They start by discussing what is going on with Jeff. Well Jeff's ex wife (which one?) shows up and his bedside. Gretchen doesn't want a fight. The Ex tells Gretchen they reason she is there is because Jake told her, Jeff is always alone. Gretchen told Jeff he had to choose does he want his Ex there or her? He chose Gretchen. Then it changes to Jeana and Matt. He moved to Irvine. Jeana's goal is to lose 20 lbs.
All the ladies (minus Tamra) head to Fred Segal.
They are in the limo, and as usual Vicki is busy working. Lynne offers to be Vicki's assistant. Vicki tells Lynne she needs someone who likes to work. At that Lynne gives her the birdy. Vicki tries not to mix personal with business. They visit Memoire Liquide-Perfume. They each proceed to make their own perfume. Gretchen heads over to the vibrators. Jeana didn't know what they were, or she simply didn't want to deal with it. While there Lynne leaves her jewelry business card. Now on to lunch. Their major topic is Jeff and Gretchen beneficiary standing. Vicki and Jeana agree, Lynne is out there all alone. Please keep in mind that this is Vicki's job, life insurance. Lynne is none to pleased that they are not siding with her.
Next week:
Lynne hosts a party, and Jeana and the gals visit Shane.

Are you ready for the episode 8 recap ladies and gentleman? Here it is and is H O T
We start this week with Tamra:
She is taking etiquette classes. This is funny. Not only because Tamra makes it humorous, I do the same things she does. At least for me, there is no teaching me a new way. LOL There are 3 styles, Continental, American and the Tamra style. I fall under the Tamra style. LOL
Back to Tamra. Brian Malarkey - Chef comes over to discuss a dinner party. A 7 course meal she hopes to host. Simon has a Tequila venture company and she wants to include that into the theme/party.
We check back in with Tamra. All of the pre party festivities are under way. Tamra is always up for a party in her mouth. LOL Tamra picks up her etiquette book to brush up before the guests arrive. Ryan completed bar tending school, so he will be the bartender for the party. The guests are now arriving. The first to arrive are Gretchen and Jeana. Followed by Lynne and Frank. Gretchen makes the comment that she is emotionally over loaded. Ryan is happy to meet Gretchen, "she is a smoking hot girl". Gretchen mentions about the emotional drain Jeff's illness has taken on her the last 8 mos. It doesn't appear as though it is taking a toll on her. Vicki and Donn also have arrived at the party. Each place has a name tag. Tamra is hot. Vicki is Woo Hoo. Tamra makes a toast and welcomes them all to her home and she thinks of them not at friends but as family. Lynne then makes the comment that Tamra must have forgotten she and Frank were there, because she feels left out. Tamra makes a comment about a dubie, and Lynne has no clue what one is and Vicki then says, that Lynne must be high because she is way too carefree. The "theme" is spice and Tequila. Vicki feels Gretchen has to be the life of the party all of the time. You said it sister! Tamra and Vicki get together and Tamra makes the statement that she is going to her her wasted, to which Vicki makes the statement she believes Gretchen is already wasted. To which Tamra says, no they are going to get her naked wasted. They want to get Gretchen to do something stupid. Tamra believes in peoples actions not words. Which is what Gretchen does. Ryan brings Gretchen a tequila shot. Simon puts Tamra on the spot with her etiquette classes. Gretchen makes the statement that it has been 8 mos of not getting any. Ryan offers to clean Gretchen's pallet. Tamra makes the statement that Gretchen needs to relax, it is hospital all the time. Jeana did move the full shots away from her, she always ended up with one anyway. By this time Gretchen is beyond wasted and flirting it up BIG time with Ryan. Tamra did give Gretchen a warning about Ryan, that he is a man whore. It is apparent that she doesn't care. Gretchen is all over Ryan. Gretchen wants to be the center of attention. Jeana was concerned about Gretchen, since by this time she has no control over her own actions. She is now wrapped about Ryan. We then move to the kitchen where Ryan kisses Gretchen on the forehead and next thing you know Tamra turns around and they are both gone. Where did they go???? Tune in next week to find out!
Now Lynne:
She and husband Frank headed out to dinner alone to Sage on the Coast. We then move on to Raquel bowling with some of her girl friends. The girls went behind closed doors and took a quick drink. Now back to her parents at dinner talking about the girls and what they wouldn't do, ie drinking. What did the girls just do, read above. And we are back to the girls bowling. la la la la la la.
We now come back to Gretchen. Talking to Raquel about drinking and driving. Raquel blows her off.
Next up Gretchen:
She is very thankful Jeff's kids came out, however they are all flying out today. They hope to come back in August. Jeff has beat it 4x, however he remains in the hospital.
We come back to Gretchen. She is during Yoga to re leave stress at Lotus7. Gretchen feels as though life is passing her by. She also feels that everyone beats her up if she goes out and has a good time, or she hates herself inside. Either way she feels terrible. Jeff is hospitalized at City Hope. She feels guilt and once again life is passing her by. Jeff doesn't wish to go on. :-(
We now check in with Vicki:
She is in Chicago visiting her family. First up is her little brother Billy. Vicki comes equipped with food, beer, etc. She is getting ready for a BBQ. Vicki's mom is Joanne. They discuss Briana and Michael. (They did not come on the trip) They start a bonfire with a gasoline towel. She also has a sister Lisa. Vicki's mom won't go to CA because Vicki is busy all of the time. Her mom never had to work, and had 5 children. One of Billy's friends who is at the BBQ, attempts to set up Joanne and his dad. So the guy gave Joanne, his dad's number which she puts in her boobs.
Next week on RHOC Season 4 Episode 9:
We pick back up at the party Tamra and Simon are hosting. Lynne and Frank offer Gretchen a ride home, however Tamra informs them that she will be spending the night at her house. Then the group of ladies go out to lunch and Lynne discusses the party. Vicki tells Lynne not to be confrontational, and Lynne doesn't feel she is and Vicki says, yes you are.

It was just announced that the ladies from NY will be having a season 2. To make matters worse, it begins on 2-17-09. And as you know, BRAVO does not run any of the Real Housewives series together. So sad to say the 4th season of the one and only TRUE Real Housewives will conclude shortly. Did I mention the other two series, suck? You shouldn't mess with perfection (RHOC). Who am I? Oh well. I truly hope there is a season 5!

Ladies and Gentleman, we are off to the races.......

We begin this episode with Gretchen:
Jeff is still in the hospital, however Gretchen is at home with his daughters, Jill and Lizzy and son Jake, Gretchen's ring arrives. The ring stats: 4.7 carot Diamond Ring worth $ 65,000. Jeff's condition is improving. During this segment, Gretchen and Jeff's kids talk to him via computer.
Next up is Lynne:
Lynne and Alexia discuss the hooker statement from last episode. Lynne is completely fouled in believing that the statement made by her BF (Randy) was a statement he made not really realizing what he was saying. As I said, she did look like one. Awe how sweet they play guitars together.
Up now is Jeana:
Jeana meets with her broker who happens to be her Ex (married 3 yrs). Jeana is leaving Remax and going to her Ex's Gary's company. They met when she was 18.
Back to Jeana and Kelli Ellis. They are having dinner at Mastros Ocean Club for some girl talk. Jeana does not like being alone. She makes a statement she wouldn't know what to do if she dated a normal guy who didn't bark at her. Matt made everything her fault. Jeana has had two husbands and one long term.
All of the ladies:
After the commercial break we come back to all of the ladies (Hat) shopping at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa for the upcoming races. Jeana makes the statement that Lynne is her own person, which makes it hard for the other ladies to get close to her, since the other ladies are so full of energy. FYI, after the dinner on last week's episode Tamra did send Gretchen an email and cleared things up. If you recall Jeana advised Tamra to call Gretchen when she (Tamra) left, and she (Tamra) said no.
Gretchen took all of the pink hats, which Tamra wanted, so Tamra changed her outfit. Tamra opted for a red and black hat. Vicki is out of town while the other ladies are hat shopping. Vicki gave free reign for the ladies to pick her hat. Good idea? Bad idea? To make things easy, Jeana phoned Vicki. They did select a hat for Vicki
Back to the ladies. They are heading to races via Limo, and while in the Limo Vicki is typing away working. They then fill Donn in on why all of ladies are wearing hats. They arrive at the horse races. Lynne goes with her husband Frank, and Gretchen arrives with her brother. The rest of the ladies took their own limo. They are at the Delmar Race Track. Today was the first day the ladies met Frank. To Tamra they remind her of 1970 surfer's. (Lynne & Frank). Gretchen feels the vibe was just off and that there was a separation in the two groups. When Gretchen, her brother and Frank left to place their bet that left Lynne at a table alone, no one cared to include her. When the 3 came back from placing their bet, the main group got up and went to another area. Jeana remind behind with Gretchen and the gang.
Tamra finds a magazine and notes that Gwen Stephani's husband is playing tonight and Vicki comes back as a joke and tells them referring to Donn, that he is Vicki Gunvelson's husband. Which pisses Donn off.
Gretchen joins some strangers party.
The main group goes down to the grounds and views the horses. Then Vicki & Donn place their bet along with Tamra and Simon. After the races and betting everyone is ready to go home. Lynne feels Tamra and Vicki are just cold.
Now on to Vicki:
While she is out of town, Michael had a house party including his GF, Lauren. Vicki phoned Michael about a possible party. Jeana phoned Vicki about an excess of cars in the front of the house. Vicki is in West Palm Beach. At the house are Michael, Lauren, Rees, Bryan and a couple of others.
On to Tamra:
She is having lunch with Lauri, yeah!!!! They start by discussing Tamra's boobs. Then the topic turns to Josh. Things remain the same with him. Lauri made the statement that she will be back "with them". I do hope that they allow Lauri back when she is ready.
Tamra then discusses the dinner from last episode, and the statement she made about Gretchen being at Bass Lake while Jeff is in ICU. Lauri agrees to had Gretchen an Oscar.

Next Week:
Tamra has a formal dinner party. Tamra attempts to get Gretchen drunk, and things go too far and the next thing you know Gretchen and Ryan are gone (together). Please note, that Gretchen was making moves on Ryan. A must watch! Isn't every episode?!!

As we put yet another year to rest, we go out with a bang and the Real Housewives. I can't being to tell everyone just how wonderful of a show this is. I want to thank everyone for stopping by and checking my blog. There will be more to come in 2009!

We start with Vicki:

having drinks with Briana at Hanna's Restaurant & Bar. They have great girl talk. Vicki shows off her new very cute shoes. (I would love a pair.) Vicki and Briana have a who loves who more conversation.

After a commercial break we come back to Vicki & Briana heading to the Red Cross to donate blood. Vicki fails so it was only Briana able to donate. Vicki feels Briana is strong due to her.

Next is Gretchen:

We start with her on set of Jo De La Rosa's "You Can't Control Me" video. As it turns out Gretchen is an extra. Then on to Jeff's three kids. Lizzy 20, Jill 19, and Jake 17. The three of them talk about their dad and Gretchen and how grateful they are to have Gretchen in their lives mainly for their dad.

now back to the studio with Jo. Gees Jo looks soooo good! It's great to see that despite all of the troubles between Jo and Slade, who well they get along and that Slade manages Jo. They make several takes. (All looks fun)

Now on to Tamra:

Tamra has a heart to heart with Ryan. First topic is the lip tattoo. As Ryan reveals he and one of his Ex's almost had a baby, which was lost at 3 mos pregnancy. Tamra is upset that Ryan kept this secret from her. Tamra gets teary eyed which causes Ryan to do the same. The Nugget comes from the ultra sound photos they thought it looked like a chicken nugget. LOL Not really.

We are back to Tamra who is having lunch with a couple girlfriends from childhood. Tamra shows off her 40th bday gift - watch. And they discuss several different topics.

Next is Lynne:

She and Gretchen are having lunch at a French Restaurant. They mainly talk about age. And cancer.

Back to Lynne and everyone getting ready for Raquel's 18th bday party. Although there were many bumps along the way, everyone is getting ready. They had the party at a small cafe. Alexia comes late to the party due to the fact of seeing her boyfriend before the party. Her BF told her she looked like a hooker, which truth be told, she did. No parent should let their 15 yr old dress they way she did. *See Picture*

Then their dad was late because he had to pick up the bday BMW car. Not only that, she got gas money. Blah Blah Blah

And next we have Jeana:

Kara and some girlfriends are shopping. Jeana has cut her off from free money. So Kara went out and got a job at Glitter Girl.

We come back to Kara and the owner fixing up the back room. They are mainly painting the back room. And Jeana show up with an OC Drink for Kara.

Next we have all the girls:

at Javier's for dinner. Then in the middle of good conversation in comes the newest wife Lynne. Lynne then tells everyone to cut, she doesn't want to talk kids. Vicki feels Lynne came on too strong. Then Gretchen & Lynne head to the ladies room which leaves the rest of the ladies to talk about Lynne behind her back. Upon their return topic then switches to Gretchen & Jeff. Tamra chimes in with Gretchen going on vacay to Bass Lake while Jeff was in ICU. That pisses Gretchen off, as she tells Tamra. I have to back Tamra up on this one. You shouldn't go on vacay and drink while your supposed love one is on his death bed. There is a difference between taking a day off and going on vacay and drinking. Lynne then chimes in yet again and tells them to stop talking kids and cancer. Tamra & Vicki then head to the ladies room. While they are gone, Gretchen pours on the tears. Upon the girls return, Vicki tells that nothing was said to hurt anyone. At that Tamra gets up and leaves. Jeana tells Tamra on her way home, to call Gretchen and Tamra says no. Which why should she. Truth hurts!

On next weeks episode:

We have Tamra having lunch with Lauri (yes! Lauri is back - life is good) filling her in on what has been happening with the OC wives. Jeana's broker is her ex husband and she is looking for a change. Lastly all of the wives and husbands head out to the horse races and Lynne doesn't like the fact that the other wives didn't invite her over to their table.

Recap Episode 5 Season 4 12-23-08

Due to being on holiday vacation, I am able to provide a recap sooner then usual.
This is the 4th of July weekend episode.....
We start this episode with Vicki:
Everyone is at Lake Havasu,AZ . And everyone has an appointed job to pack for the boat. The one thing I disagree with is the fact that Tamra and Simon's two young children are on the boat loaded with everyone drinking. Not a good parental choice if you ask me.
After a shot commercial break we come back to Vicki. Jeana shows up with Frankie. Who as Jeans knows is a very sore spot with Vicki, due to a rental disagreement (last season). There are bitter feelings on both ends (Vicki & Frankie). Jeana didn't tell Vicki Frankie was coming because Jeana didn't think it was Vicki's business, and she thought it was water under the bridge. Although you have Tamra saying Jeana knew full well Vicki's feelings and where the situation stands. Vicki chose to not sit with Jeana and Frankie. Poor Tamra felt in the middle. This all went down at the Naked Turtle. Donn gives Vicki some love to make her feel better. Jeana & Frankie then opted to spend the rest of the day by themselves. *That is the last we see of Jeana this episode.
Now back to Vicki. They are all now mostly drunk and there is a lot of boob grabbing. Lauren looks after Vicki, and she would be so happy if Michael and Lauren married. Now to after lunch they headed back onto the boat. Simon did at least 5 beer bombs, whereas Tamra only did one. Tamara as with myself get very lovey dovy when she gets a few drinks. Vicki got hit in the head with a football. She may have been down, but she is not out.
After a short commercial break back to Havasu. To where Ryan shows Tamra his lip tattoo. Which enrages Tamra to the point that she is cussing Ryan and crying. It also doesn't help that Simon is siding with Ryan. Of course Ryan is thrilled how upset he has made his mom.
Next up is Lynne:
Raquel and two of her gf's are out having lunch, discussing Raquel's 18th bday party. Raquel and her gf's attempt to get alcohol added to their drinks....it back fires big time!
After Vicki we come back to Lynne. She is shopping with her two girls. And go figure, Lynne is the same size as her two daughters. And the shopping total is $1885.63
After a short stint at Lake Havasu we come back to Lynne at Cafe Vienna (Coffee) with her husband, Frank trying to pick out preferred a BMW for Raquel's bday. Frank said no party at the house, he will rent, but not at home.
Now back to Lynne. She is having a tanning party. Raquel gets very upset because she was only able to spray tan once, compared to her sister Alexa getting spray tanned twice.
Next is Gretchen:
She places a call to Jeff's children mainly Jill. Gretchen gives Jill a run down on her dad's status. He is still in ICU. Jeff will be in the hospital longer then expected and Gretchen is trying to get both children, Jill and Jake out as soon as possible.
After a short commercial break we come back to Gretchen. She is at Bass Lake, CA - Bass Lake Recreation Resort (A Members only)
She is with her family. Parents and brother Ethen. Gretchen flew Jeff's kids in, so they are with Jeff at the hospital, while Gretchen is with her family at the lake on a boat getting drunk. She clams Jeff knows she needs to be with her family to keep her grounded. Sure, yeah what ever!!
Back to Gretchen. She and her family are sitting about a table just laughing and having a good time. She leaves and calls Jeff. Jeff doesn't feel any better. He is now out of ICU. She wishes him a Happy 4th, however shouldn't she be with Jeff who is dyeing. She says she loves him sooooo much.
That concludes this episode.

On Next weeks episode:
Lynne meets the gals and Gretchen doesn't want to be judged. Tamra then says, you don't vacation while your loved on is in the hospital. Amen to that!! Also Jo and Slade stop by.

Alright, I hope to do the entire recap in one sitting, however my schedule has been very busy lately, and I am starting this later, then usual. Please bear with me.....oy
We start this week with Gretchen:
She his hosting a Burlesque party, and Ashley from Bad Behavior Exotic Boutique is assisting Gretchen. The party comes complete with dancers. There were lots of ladies, however no other housewives.
We are now back to Gretchen and she is shopping with some of her girlfriends, which includes the newest housewife - Lynne. And the damage between the two comes to $1239.13
Back to Gretchen. Jeff is home from the hospital. A nurse shows up to show her how to set up his TPN, basically a feed tube if you will.
Next to Jeana:
Colton's first prom. Jeana is very worried about drinking, and rightfully so. Jeana is giving Colton the 3rd degree on drinking and making her a grandma. Colton did all of the prom prep. "Uncle" Richie shows up, since Colton mainly looks up to him, and not his father.
We are back to Jeana, well Kara actually. And here is something you don't see everyday. Since Kara got wind that Simon took Ryan to the shooting range she asked Simon to take her. You go girl!! Kara wants to learn two things, they are how to shoot a gun and learn how to drive a stick shift. Hey Kara, I can teach you how to drive stick shift, that is all I have ever driven. Kara admits she misses the father figure. Simon does a great job at teaching Kara how to shoot properly.
Now on to Vicki:
She takes the entire family to view the yacht she wants to purchase. Briana does not like the entire yacht idea. Briana would much rather keep the vacay house instead of the yacht. Vicki takes a vote for to purchase or not to purchase....Donn - on the fence, Briana - NO, Michael - Yes, Lauren - Yes.
Back to Vicki and having dinner with Briana. Briana admits she has a trust issue with men, because she feels abandon. She never has seen Donn as her dad, just her mom husband. Briana wishes she had her dad. It seems to her that Mike Sr. doesn't want to know her.
We now meet Lynne:
She is obsessed with being young and she is at the gym. Frank is Lynne's husband, have been married 18 yrs. Frank is in complete ahhh to this day with her. They have Alexa 15 and Raquel 17. Raquel is planning a huge 18th bday bash.
And we are back to Lynne and having lunch at Bayside Resturant with Raquel since it is her 18th bday. Raquel was born preemie 3 lbs 11 oz. They discuss getting her a car, prefer 2 seater. Lynne wants to be the "cool" mom. They then discussing drinking.
Next up, Tamra:
Simon brings Ryan to the shooting range. Mainly to pump him up and encourage him to join the CHP. Then we move on to Tamra and her friend Ann and Gretchen to lunch at Beach Fire Gretchen doesn't trust anyone one of the gals, and esp. Tamra, since Tamra has hurt her before. While at lunch Tamra takes it upon herself to tell Gretchen about the hazing last week and then Gretchen explains the whole Jeff being 23 yrs older, 4 yrs younger then her dad.
We are not back to Tamra, mainly Ryan. He is out with some friends at a bar. While he and his buddies are out, they attempt to pick up girls. Ryan prefers to girl hope aka date. Ryan admits to his buddies that he no longer wants to be a CHP. Please keep in mind Tamra and Simon don't have a clue he no longer wants to be a CHP.
Back to Tamra. Simon comes over to break the news about the CHP. The three of them talk about it, fairly well.
The three ladies, Vicki, Jeana, and Tamra head out to lunch. Gretchen was invited, however has too much on her plate. Vicki has a problem accepting new people. They call Gretchen on the phone and they are having a rough day. Vicki doesn't want to "deal" with it. Tamra admits she could never do what Gretchen is doing. The ladies are having a very deep conversation about divorce and cheating. Vicki goes off on Jeana for defending Mike Jr. Jeana feels Vicki took the kids from Mike Jr in Chicago to Orange County. Vicki's defense is Mike Jr. is a alcoholic. Vicki ends the deep conversation by ordering food, she take that Jeana is so strongly defending Mike Jr.

Recap Episode 3 12-9-08

Here is the much awaited recap from Tuesday's show. Sorry it is so late, however as I mentioned with schedules with week and Christmas programs, I have been very busy.
We start with Tamra:
She is packing for their 10 yr anniversary. She is wanting to pack way to many shoes. We are now back on to simply Tamra & Simon. Before dinner Tamra surprises Simon with a sexy show. She presents Simon with lots of gifts. Handcuffs, porn etc. After the two sealed the deal they met up with Donn & Vicki. (See below for further info)
On to Vicki:
Michael's GF Lauren is staying at Vicki's this summer. Turns out her dog is having potty training issues. Vicki is packing for Napa. She and Donn are heading on the Napa trip with Tamra and Simon.
Next up Jeana:
Kelli Ellis shows up to redecorate Jeana's bedroom. Retail for bedding....$8000. Kara and Uncle Richie head out to lunch. Kara has been offered several internships, however she won't work for nothing. Jeana wants to be treasured by her next man, not yelled at.
John Ellis Jeana's personal trainer shows up. (John & Kelli are not related)
It has been hard for Jeana to move on. John has truly been helping Jeana move on.
Now on to Gretchen in Indy, IN:
They are at the Indy 500. Gretchen takes a ride in an Indy car and freaks the entire time. We are back to Gretchen and they are using a police escort to get to the race. Gretchen is meeting all these big Indy racers and doesn't know who they are. Some of the footage this week of Indy is the same used last week. In a nut shell, Gretchen is the boring new girl. Gretchen & Jeff go on a carriage ride in downtown Indy.
Vicki, Donn, Tamra, and Simon:
They get a limo and head off on their trip. Vicki, believes life is all about check marks. Donn & Vicki will celebrate their 15th in November (hence they have now celebrated 15 yrs). They take a tour of Berkachels Winery.
Back to the two couples at Napa. They are getting all the in's and out's of wine drinking.(Grgich Hills Estate)
They then head to St. Supery. In a nut shell they are winery hoping. Next Vicki and Tamra stomp grapes. Then Tamra & Simon stomp grapes. Donn won't stomp grapes. Poop!
The four of them meet up for dinner. It is fancy, it is a 7 course meal. First up Oysters. Vicki won't eat her Oysters. Next: Tuna Tartare. Tamra is not big on Sushi. Next: Beff Tenderloin. Tamra didn't feel comfortable at such a high end restaurant. She doesn't put that much thought into her food. Next: Seared Foie Gras. What is Foie Gras? - the fattened liver of a duck. Donn is keep up with changing the wine for each type of food. No one else is. Vicki & Donn are arguing about her not being told anything loving. Vicki needs loves, Donn won't hug her. Back to the couples. They head out for a boat ride. Both Vicki & Donn are attention deprived. Vicki then mumbles about how lonely she is........
Now for Lauri:
Lauri is paying for hair extensions for Ashley & McKenzie. Lauri takes about Josh: Since Josh has been having such a hard time, Lauri moved him back into the townhouse with Ashley. Lauri though if she provided him a place to live and wheels, he would turn his life around. Ashley then talks about Josh. She believes Josh was clean when he first moved back. She thinks it was a down ward spiral from there. She then wonders back on their lives growing up and what caused him to have the addiction problem. Back to Lauri talking about having 7 kids.....they go for couples massages. She loves the life, however with the great life, comes challenges. After the wedding, Josh put himself in rehab. 45 days later he slipped. Josh was arrested, and charged with possession and he was under the influence with intent to sell. Josh is battling Heroine. Josh has fallen into the black hole.
And onto the big close for this episode with Lauri. Josh tells his mom he would like to go back in time. Lauri and Sophie are at the horse stables. Lauri explains all the troubles Josh has encountered. Lauri is very protective of her family. She tells us that she is cutting back on all extra activities and focusing 100% on her family. She is sorry. Then the producers of RHOC proceed to post:
"Due to her desire to devote more time to her family, Lauri decided to cease filming for the show. Josh was sentenced to 8 mos in jail."
The above I think is so sad. I hope Lauri & George are able to get Josh the help that he needs and everything works out for the positive in the end. With any luck, Lauri will stop by the wrap up show and tell us how everything is going.
Lauri, you will be missed!!!!!!!!

I am sorry, however at this time I do not have my recap ready for publish. I am slightly behind this week with schedules and Christmas programs. I hope to have it up by Thursday evening. Please bear with me. The news I do have, is which original housewife said goodbye at the end of the show yesterday. It was Lauri Waring-Peterson. The reason being she has to spend time getting her family (mainly Josh) the much needed help and attention he needs. I can say that I did shed a few tears. I loved Lauri. We have seen her go though so much and end up on the positive end. I wish her and her entire family all the best. You are/will be greatly missed, Lauri!!!

Season 4 Episode 2 Recap (12-2-08)

First let me start by saying all of the ladies look fantastic this year. All fit and trim. You can tell now that Jeana has gotten rid of Matt, she is so much happier, it shows. Go Jeana. Now on to the recap.....
First up we have Tamra:
Tamra is changing Ryan's old room into her weight room. Simon has now left Fletcher Jones to start his own business. While Tamra and Simon move all of Tamra's weight equipment they create several nicks and bumps. Watching them was a little funny.
After a short break, we get back to Tamra. She is shopping for her 10 yr wedding anniversary. Please keep in mind she is shopping in an adult store. She feels sex is very important to a great marriage. She is planning a surprise lingerie show for Simon complete with toys and gifts.
We now move on to Gretchen:
Gretchen and Jeff go motorcycle shopping. She actually asked for a pink bike....oh brother! She didn't just say it's going to be hard to ride in heels. Oy!
Next up is Vicki:
They are taking a family vacay to Mexico. Brianna "helps" her mom pack. Although she made the statement that she would rather stay with Colby. Then Jeana shows up. And Donn shows up. The trip to Mexico does not include Donn. Vicki is going to spend time with her kids and sister. Whereas Donn is going fishing.
Back to Vicki out to dinner with Donn. Donn reveals that he feels left out of the Mexico trip. Donn asks Vicki to be normal, she claims she is normal. No Donn says, you are weird. Donn must have gotten offended when Vic asked if he was having a good time. Hence his earlier question. Vicki wants to have a family BBQ while she and the kids visit back home in Chicago. Vic then wonders if she should invite her kids dad Michael Sr. to which Donn exclaims Michael Sr. is a piece of trash. Donn wishes he could tell it to his face. Then it is revealed that Donn raised Michael Jr. and Brianna, however never adopted them.
Back to Vicki...we pick up with them leaving for Mexico. Michael then approaches his mom about not going to Mexico, because he just got back from Costa Rica 2 wk ago. Brianna is over going to Mexico as well. Then Vicki brings up the fact that Michael's GF is meeting them there on Tuesday and if he doesn't go, he will owe Vicki the $500. Donn is still upset he was not asked to go to Mexico. Vicki then drops the F bomb on Michael because he didn't want to go. Brianna also admits that she would rather not go.
Now to Jeana:
She is selling Tammy Knickerbocker's old home. Was 4 Million, now 14 million. Jeana is doing "short" sales currently. The seller is not allowed any money in a short sale. Jeana prefers short sales for foreclosures. Short sales are just that, short and sweet. Foreclosures on the other hand are drawn out.
We pick up with the man from the short sale coming over to sign the papers.
Next Lauri:
We start with them riding horses. Bria and Ashley to name a couple of the kids, are offering horse baths. Ashley is currently developing a skin care line. The company is A2Z Skin Care. Lauri and George haven't helped Ashley at all financially. It was all on her own, er through vendors/investors.
Back to Lauri.....she is out eating with Ashley. They talk the new business the entire time.
All of the ladies together:
Then all of the ladies come over (via Limo) and pick up Jeana. Lauri says she is happy to hand over the gold digger title to Gretchen. Goes on to say that Lauri feels Gretchen fills that title more then herself. The last to get picked up is Gretchen. They all comment that they believe Gretchen got a boob job. Jeana asks Gretchen how things are going and she opens up about Jeff and the acute leukemia. Gretchen then comments that she finds it rude for Vicki to be on her PC while in route to the spa. They arrive at the spa and have lunch and chit chat.
The spa is the Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic. While at lunch at the clinic Gretchen reveals she was previously married. Thought the guy was prince charming, and then after they got married he just put his feet on the coffee table and thought I got the girl now I'm done. To which someone(Tamra) shouts out "was he poor"? Dead silence. The guy was 9 yrs older. Gretchen then tells everyone since she is the new girl they can't tell her to shout up. And she admits that yes, Jeff could be her father, but that doesn't bother her. On to the spa treatment...Vicki works the entire time. Lauri had to leave early due to family obligations. then Vicki says she thought she and Lauri were good friends, however since George came into the picture she doesn't see Lauri much. then on to Tamra and Gretchen. The talk back and forth. Then they all leave with gift bags.

I can't being to tell you how very excited I am to be able to finally write this posting. I have basically been waiting since the end of season 3. So without further hesitation.....I bring you my recap of season 4 episode 1!

We start with Vicki:

She still appears to be a work junkie, however that is not all bad, especially if you wish to reap the rewards, as Vicki puts it. Vicki takes her son Michael who is home from college to yacht shopping. I love the one she chose!

We are now at lunch with Vicki and Briana discussing the yacht. Briana doesn't like the idea so much. Especially if Vicki has to sell the river house.

Next Jeana:

First let me start by saying, I am soooo very happy she has opted to separate from her dick of a husband (Matt). She is getting HER home a face lift. During the consultation of her home's face lift, Matt shows up and makes his presence known. During this season Jeana does allow Matt to move back into HER home.

Next we spend quality time in Jeana's backyard with the family goofing off, bonding and having a wonderful time.

Next Tamra:

We start with Tamra taking her Mom for a face lift, however while there Tamra gets Botox injections in her lips.

This season Tamra's son Ryan has gotten his own place and the big thing this episode, Simon helps Ryan move a large flat screen TV.

That brings us to Lori:

She and George head out for a get romantic meal at the St. Regis. Over dinner they discuss their honeymoon ideas. They have been married 9 mos. They are really wanting something romantic/exotic.

And finally the new "housewife", Gretchen:

Jeana is showing Gretchen and her Fiance Jeff a great property worth 3.2 million! Next we move to Anthony's where Jeff takes her top of the line jewelry shopping. The thing that bothers me the most, is not their 23 + yr age difference is the fact that Gretchen actually makes the statement that it is not required to be attracted to someone to love them.....well no, not if you are out for one thing........M O N E Y

We are now back in in Jeff's hometown visiting his two children. And with his 19 yr old daughter wanting a better car. Well needless to say the daughter doesn't get what she wants, but Gretchen sure does. Then Gretchen lays it on thick with Jeff's leukemia. Don't get me wrong....I am very sad that Jeff has leukemia, however Gretchen doesn't need to lay it on so thick!

Trunk Party:

New are now on to all of the housewives having a trunk party. What is a trunk party??? A clothing party. Lori pulled out one of the gifts George gave her, a black Amex card. You have to spend a min of $150,00 per year. Gretchen was then a little put off by Lori's credit card. oh well!! The rest of the scene was all of the ladies trying on all of the various clothing offered. Some purchased, some didn't.

This was, as I had expected a wonderful episode!!! Tune in next week for that episode's recap, my version!

There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it-the portrayal of Vicki Gunvalson on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Orange County is an accurate one. She's a great mom, an independent businesswoman, and a caring person. Recently, I had the chance to talk to Vicki about her involvement with the show and her life since Season Two ended.
"We never thought it was going to be on television!" Vicki was in Mexico when she got a call from her son Michael that Bravo was thinking about doing a new show about life behind the gates. He told her that he had written a letter to the producers about her, and they later contacted the family. The makers of the show came over to her house, hung out by the pool, and got to know the family. "We had a fun time. It was, 'Here's this professional businesswoman who can have fun, too!'"

After that, Vicki and her family pretty much forgot about the show-until four month later, when Bravo phoned her with the news that she was their first pick. "I was like, 'First pick for what?' Doing this show wasn't even on my schedule." At first, both she and Donn, her husband, weren't interested, but a meeting with Bravo convinced them to sign the contract to film the pilot. No one ever thought the show would be aired, and even after the first season was picked up, no one realized the Real Housewives phenomenon that would hit America.

And then, something even more incredible happened-Vicki started getting phone calls and emails about her insurance business. "People were saying, 'I want to live the way you do. I want a career like you!'" All of these calls inspired her to launch and new business venture-Coto Insurance and Financial Services-aimed at helping fans interested in her business become successful as well. The night her website, www.vickigunvalson.com was featured on the show, the site got over a million hits. Vicki wasn't always in the insurance business, however. At 29 years old, she suddenly found herself in the middle of a divorce with no real source of income. A friend got her involved in the insurance business, and now, through Coto Insurance she's doing weekly training calls and hosting forums with insurance agents who want the secret to her success. She also just finished writing her first book, Internet Insurance Selling Made Easy. Her goal is to continue to grow this business across the nation, helping others find success.

But oh no, that isn't all, folks. Vicki also was inspired by all of the inquiries she received about her clothing and makeup. "People would really send us great emails about our fashion," she says Together with the other ladies from the show, Vicki started The Real OC Brand, a company aimed not necessarily at making money, but more at simply helping fans connect with the products they see the ladies using and wearing every week.

So with all of these business ventures, how does Vicki stay in control? "The key is being organized. I keep on top of everything. Things don't go undone. That way, you don't get overwhelmed." From doing the dishes immediately after dinner to folding the laundry as soon as the dryer buzzes, Vicki makes sure that she keeps ahead of her work. "My days are very hard-they are just packed with things to do."

That won't stop Vicki from taking a few moments to brag about her kids, which is fully justified considering how well they are doing! According to Mom, Brianna has made the dean's list and is currently moving in order to be a little closer to home and to her still-boyfriend, Colby. Michael is attending summer classes and is looking for a job, maybe bartending, in order to buy himself a car. He's also still with his girlfriend from last season, and they are very happy. And Donn? "He's still putting up with me!" says Vicki. The entire family is doing great.

Beyond that, Vicki is making good on her promises last season to simplify her life. "The viewers will probably be surprised to know that my house is for sale," she says, talking about how she's trying to slow down and relax more often. She and Donn are moving to a smaller house in Coto in order to be able to take more time to enjoy life. Her goals for the future are to continue building the business, promote her book, and continue being herself-a positive role model. "Morals always shine through, when you do the right thing.

I f you need some cheap, guilty pleasure this fall and winter, curl up with The Real Housewives of Orange County. If you gain one thing from watching The Real Housewives of Orange County it will be that money really doesn't buy happiness, it only gets you on TV.

For those of you who don't know, or need a refresher, The Real Housewives of Orange County is a reality TV show on Bravo that focuses on Orange County's posh and over-the-top moms. The families live in a gated community,Coto de Caza in Orange County, California.

Who's Who on The Real Housewives of Orange County

The cast of women on The Real Housewives of Orange County includes rich, working moms, divorced moms, controlling and overbearing moms (Vicki), moms who are past their prime (former Playmate Jeana), a seemingly normal and rich mom (Lauri) with a problem child with drug problems, and one mom who thinks she is still a 20-year-old hot thing (Tamra), but really, she is just plasticized.

Fan favorite is Lauri. Last season Lauri married her too-good-to-be-true man George. Really, is he that perfect? He certainly seems to be.

Vicki is the one housewife who looks like she is going to crack at any minute. She is one of the most controlling people ever captured on film. She doesn't seem aware that her need to control everyone and everything around her is unhealthy. Will Vicki finally learn to let go, just a little, this season? For her family's sake, let's hope so.

This season, there's fresh meat for The Real ~~Cougars~~ Housewives of Orange County Season 4 to tear apart. Because if there's one thing these "real" housewives have in common, they are all super-competitive, gossipy and catty with each other. The only exception would be Quinn, who is a little too real for this show. She will not be returning for The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 4.

The show's core cast members have been Jeana, Lauri and Vicki.

What's in Store: Season Four

The Real Housewives of Orange County Mid-Life Crisis

For The Real Housewives of Orange County, the show is going through it's midlife crisis. They are introducing a newer, younger, hotter housewife into the mix. Gretchen is young, perky and sure to turn the other housewives of Orange County green with envy.

Gretchen already has gold digging reputation with the Orange County housewives, not helped by the fact that she admits to not being attracted to her older husband, aka, her Sugar Daddy. Gretchen's two big claims to fame are her real breasts, a rare sighting in Coto.

Jeana

After her long-overdue separation from husband Matt, Jeana will continue to struggle as a single mom, at least emotionally. This is only made harder when Jeana lets Matt move back in. Jeana needs a lesson in letting go and moving on. She is a successful woman in her own right, and does not have much of a relationship with Matt, even on a good day.

Jeana will have her hands full this season, when spoiled daughter Kara has come running back home after her first year of college at Berkeley. Add to that her now-driving teen and Jeana has her hands full in Season Four.

Tamra

Tamra is one of the more annoying housewives, who came on the show in Season 3. She completely coddles her 22-year-old son who knows he has it made. Tamra is also more wild and more crass than the other housewives.

In The Real Housewives of Orange County Season Four Tamra will be dealing with family issues, helping her son leave the nest, while she confronts her own issues with her father. Finally, something real for Tamra.

Vicki

Vicki continues to focus on her insurance business, not her marriage in The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 4. She won't be chumming around with Gretchen anytime soon, who is more a woman of leisure than Vicki could ever allow herself to be.

Season Finale of Date My Ex: 9-8-08

We begin with the date Jo is having with Slade, and Slade asking if Jo still has feelings for him. Jo’s response “I am going to always love you”, but I am going to do this for me and I am going to move on”. Slade understands.

The elimination is right around the corner. Who will she say goodbye to? Lucas or Chris? The elimination will however not take place at Slade’s home. Jo finds that too weird.

Myia surprises the guys during breakfast, and notified them that Jo is at a cross roads, and is heading to San Diego. Although the guys are accompanying her as well. They will be staying at the Ivy.

In a new twist, Slade shows up at the Ivy and apologies to both Lucas and Chris and wishes them both the best of luck and with that Slade is gone at least from the guys.

Slade then bumps into the girls and sits down and talks over everything that has happened and mends all fences.

Myia welcomes the guys to the Ivy and informs them that they each have one last date with Jo, and Lucas goes first.

For the final date with Lucas they spend the day at Buffalo Park. Lucas tells Jo he is falling for her, and that made Jo’s heart drop. While on the date Lucas gave Jo a bear he made her with a person message. They also both made a wish at a wishing well.

Next up is the final date with Chris. For their date their date they took a walk near the ocean and check out the lighthouse. Chris said Jo has his heart. Jo thought that was really sweet and melted. Jo thought the date with Chris couldn't’t have gone better or been any sweeter. She feels Chris is a true true gentleman.

She goes back to the hotel room and talks and drinks it up with the girls. Jo feels that with Chris they can talk about anything, whether it be really deep or just real life things. Lucas it is all fun fun fun.

Jo spends time alone remising over the dates she has had with Chris. Then she remises over the dates she has had with Lucas. Jo has to go with her heart, and it is pulling her towards one.

**My vote is for Chris to be chosen**

This brings us to the elimination ceremony. Myia tells Jo that she and Katy will be letting Jo handle this ceremony on her own.

First out is Chris. And Jo has a heart to heart with him, telling him all the qualities Jo likes about him. Jo tells Chris, he has definitely swept her off her feet. She tells Chris that Jo has to go with her heart, and it is pulling her in another direction. Chris’ parted words are “I told Jo she had my heart, and she just handed it back to me”. The reason Jo didn’t select Chris is, because she is not ready for the life that Chris wants to offer.

And to close the show Lucas comes out and he and Jo have a heart to heart and she informs him what she likes about him. And so ends the show. Jo selected Lucas. What Jo doesn’t realize is that, Lucas will put a stop to any communication she has with Slade, or at least he will try.

Jo will now be taking Lucas to Hawaii and see what plays out from there. Both Myia and Katy are happy Jo selected Lucas.

Date My Ex: Epsiode 7 Sept. 1 - 3rd Date(s)

Here is the latest recap.

Lucas and Chris are the final 2 standing, however if you recall Slade puts himself in the running as well. All Slade wants is one single date. At which point both Lucas and Chris “drop” out of the running. It is very understandable that both men are very hurt/pissed at this point. Jo proceeds to confront both Lucas and Chris and explain the situation to them. It is simply one single dinner and Jo reassures Chris and Lucas that she will not get back with Slade. Chris has officially withdrawn from the running.
Slade has now put Jo in a very awkward situation since Slade still has deep feelings for Jo. Jo now needs sometime alone to decide what is best.
Lucas was able to talk Chris down and convince him back into the home. Jo and Chris then have a heart to heart. To sum it up, Chris will only stay if Slade goes. Which Jo agrees to.
Jo then proceeds to talk to Lucas. Lucas as well wants Slade removed from the situation.
Jo then talks with Slade and really nothing came from it, except the fact that Jo and Slade are now both hurt. Slade feels they should get back together.
Slade now feels it is not fair for Chris and Lucas to compete for Jo, since they are buddy buddy and that is the same relationship Slade claims to have with Jo and he is no longer in the running.
Slade calls Jo the next morning and asks that they get together and discuss their issues, which Jo agrees to, even though she is aware she told Chris she wouldn’t however Jo is also aware that she and Slade have some unresolved issues that need to be addressed.
On to date 3 with the guys.
The first lucky man is Lucas. Lucas has a heart to heart with Jo. Nothing really comes from it. They head out to dinner/restaurant. Jo feels she can be real with Lucas. After dinner they head out back to the pool and fireplace for dessert. Although this is date 3, she feels as though she has known Lucas for a long time. During dinner, he gives Jo a charm bracelet with a golf ball = first date they went on. Music Note = their love of music and the heart = the hope that Lucas can have Jo’s heart. Jo then realizes how deeply Lucas cares for her. After dinner they headed back to Jo’s place for a make out session, etc etc etc.
Slade feel Lucas and Chris have a bromance. Hence they both dress the same, act the same etc etc etc. However they are the best of friend, just after the same girl.
Jo starts her date with Chris coming to her place to pick her up. Chris gives Jo a gift, which is lyrics of a country song that when he hears it, he thinks of Jo, as well as the CD. They head to Craft for dinner. They had great conversation during dinner. They head elsewhere for dessert/ice cream. After dessert they headed back to Jo’s.
Jo is now at a complete loss as to who to choose.
Jo and Slade meet, which happens to turn into a picnic date. Slade surprises Jo with her favorite salad/their favorite restaurant. Jo remarks that by Slade providing that food, shows her that no one knows her like Slade. Why did Slade do this show with Jo? Because he still cares for her and loves her. Slade then asks Jo if she still loves him?.

Next Monday is the season finale. Jo has dated 16 men in total, however is Slade able to win Jo’s heart back. Jo needs more time and heads to San Diego. Slade also confronts the guys. Does she make one of the men more then just friends????

Where do I begin. I figure if I say nothing it will make this entry appear larger then what it actually is. The short of it is, this show sucks! Why can't the producers leave well enough alone? The origional Real Housewives Of Orange County is tops, it is by far the best show on TV. As posted when they aired Real Housewives Of NY, that show was a waste as well. My final word, you can't reproduce perfection so leave Real Housewives in Orange County the only place they belong!!

Thank you for waiting patiently for my weekly recap. Here it is all all of it's form.

Remember there are 4 boys in the house. They are: (in no special order)
Lucas, 26
Chris, 26
Zack, 27
Chuck, 28
Jo starts by sending the “cute boy’s” the secret box. All 4 boys including Slade, go on the 2nd date. Which is a road trip via luxury road bus. They arrive at Two Bunch Palms, a spa. Jo chose that because it is relaxing and a little more skin would be revealed. Jo pulled Chuck away first for their 2nd date. They each got a full body massage. Chuck proceeds to rub mud on Jo. Jo thought Chuck turned up the heat on their date and she thought Chuck made playing with clay sexy. After the massage/treatment, they proceeded to the showers and washed each other off. As you can imagine the date was hot and steamy. The rest of the men stayed in the hot spring with Jo’s friend Katy.
After the date with Chuck concluded, they all met back up at dinner.
Zack spoke up at dinner and mentioned how awkward it was to do anything with Jo when Slade is always there. By Zack speaking up, that earned him extra points in Jo’s eyes. Slade did speak up and said that the jealous feelings he has been having have gotten stronger as Jo gets deeper into the dates.
Ahhh everyone’s feelings have come out thanks to Zack. Everyone men and Jo feel very awkward with doing anything with Jo when Slade is around. Slade has made mention in the past that Jo is the love of his life, if that is the case, why did they break up to begin with???
Jo addresses the men and tells them the bus ride was awkward and her heart is in for the guys. The 4 guys are there because Jo wants them there.
Shortly there after Slade shows up for breakfast. Slade mentions the last 24 hrs have been very uncomfortable.
Jo pulls Slade aside and thinks it’s weird to have Slade around and asks him to leave. Slade was very hurt when Jo asked him to leave, however he did understand since everyone felt so awkward.
Chris is the next to go on a 2nd date. Which was a Watsu treatment. Jo asks Chris what he wants out of this and he says her. Jo’s response she wants to find someone who makes here happy. Jo feels Chris is the better version of herself. She was hoping Chris would kiss her, however it didn’t happen.
Jo’s 3rd 2nd date was with Lucas for a mud treatment, however it turned into something smelly and very messy. Since it didn’t turn out the way Jo had planned she showered with Lucas and felt really good with him. Lucas flips the date on Jo and takes her to a private spot, where they make out.
Jo has been having a great time with the guys at Palm Springs.
Jo then takes Zack to a pond side couples massage. Zack then gives Jo a massage. When they are finished they move closer to the pond and make out and have a great talk.
The guys and gals travel back to LA separately. Tomorrow Jo has to decide which TWO will go and which TWO will get a 3rd date.
Jo felt the get away with the guys was an eye opener and who she is feeling for
and got to know the guys on a personal and intimate level.
Sending Slade home was very hard on Jo. Although the whole reason she went away was for everyone to be there.
Miya asks Jo if she knows which TWO she is sending home, and she says, she knows one but can’t make a decision on number two.
We then move on to the elimination ceremony. During the ceremony each man is given a chance to explain to Jo why they should get a 3rd date. It is then Jo’s turn to go down the line. First in line was Lucas, Goof off and be dorks is what Jo likes about Lucas.
Chuck, a level of comfort and always been natural.
Zack, crazy attraction between the two of them.
Chris, took the time to pay attention to the small things when it came to her.

Jo kicks out Chuck first. Then she kicks out Zack. Zack then reveals he can’t stop thinking about Katy, which is good she eliminated him.
Lucas and Chris are the two left standing for a 3rd date.
Slade they stops Miya from finishing and addresses Jo about his unresolved feelings. Slade then wants a chance to take Jo on a date.

With that, that concludes the show for this week and brings us to next weeks show, where as the preview shows Chris can’t take the pressure and leaves as well as Lucas dropping out and Jo chasing after both of them. Stay tuned next week for more drama!!!!!

Spa Surprise

Jo goes on her second round of dates with the guys, but this time she takes control of the situation by surprising everyone with an unexpected trip to a luxurious desert resort and spa, with Slade tagging along. But drama ensues when Slade's jealousy comes to a boil during a dinner, and Jo must make a tough decision to let him stay or send him packing. At the elimination, Slade shocks everyone with a surprising announcement.

Date My Ex: Recap Epsiode 5 8-18-08

Jo's first date this evening was Chuck. He took her for a wine & chocolate tasting. Jo thought he was sweet & handsome, classy and refined. This was one of her favorite dates thus far.

Jo's second date was with Peter. Peter is a Santa Monica surf instructor. So you can guess what Jo did on this date. Peter gave Jo surfing lessons. Jo thought Peter was grounded and down to earth.

Jo's third date was with Ramiel. Ramiel is the oldest of the men who have taken Jo on dates. Let me just say this from the beginning.....he and this entire date were a complete disaster. At the beginning of each date Jo is given a surprise box and she has to guess from that clue what she will be doing on the pending date. Well the gift from Ramiel was as Jo thought an ugly purse/bag. It only got worse from there. The date was in a hotel room. Second wrong move. Jo of course thought it was creepy. He then wanted to feed Jo chocolate covered strawberries, and BURN - Jo said she can feed herself. That should have been a huge clue for him, but it wasn't. The gist of this date was to shower Jo with expensive lavish gifts, which as Jo put it "that is her life she has left behind in Orange County and no longer wishes to be a part of that life style" . Ramiel kept calling her pet names, ie: Honey, Dear, etc etc etc. Which turned Jo off even more. He actually went as far as asking Jo her age. At Jo's urging they ended up eating McDonald's burgers in the back of her SUV. As I said earlier, this had to be her worst date ever!!! You can't say I didn't warn you before reading the Ramiel date.

On to the pumpus Ass David. David was his usual dick. This week around he made cookie De La Rosa complete with large boobs and a vaginal area. Well needless to say, this pissed Slade off to no end. At which point Slade pulls David aside and tries talking to David however David doesn't take responsibility for anything he has done and gets up in Slade's face and pretty much tells him off. (In Slade's own home) David went as far as calling Slade a bitch! From there (and who wouldn't) Slade took David's things and put them at the front door. About this time the 3 ladies show up and Slade pulls them all aside and informs them of what has been happening in the house/with David. While Slade was doing so David bursts in and starts in yet again. Jo then pulled David aside and at which point David goes off again. To give David the benefit of the doubt (I wouldn't at this point, but whatever) Jo talks to one of the other house mates/guys and he only confirms what Slade has already told her. Jo then kicks David out on his ass, where he belongs!!! THANK YOU JO!! It was about time. As you can imagine , the film crew follows David to the street and he gets pissed at them and then refuses to be filmed. Ass!!

On to the chopping block.

Chuck was Easy to be around, passionate, fun loving, quite and handsome.
Jo thought it was great Peter was so passionate about surfing.

Date My Ex: Episode 4 Recap

Alright, thus far Jo has been on a date with Micah (pronounced Mike a) an artist. This nut didn't let Jo get a word in edgewise and pretty much as she put it, gave her a lecture on art. Then back to the Slade home and David being David was his usual ass of himself. He made a dinner plate for Micah of veggies and made her boobs out of tomatoes (large tomatoes) which didn't make Slade the least bit happy. Here is my question....David is in Slade's home, why doesn't Slade just kick his sorry ass out of the house??

Her next date was with Chris from Chicago a licensed pilot. He took her on a plane ride over Malibu. From there off to a sushi meal. They had wonderful conversation. She made the comment that Chris was the first normal guy out of the bunch. (A breath of fresh air if you will) He is the best suitor thus far (in my opinion).

Her third and final date this episode was with Vlad a Russian. He took her to a Russian restaurant. While on this date, I think Vlad had more of an interest to get Jo drunk vs wooing and learning more about her. Vlad did tell Jo on their date that Micah thought Jo was the typical Latino. That needless to say pissed her off.

Lucas who was trying to get the upper hand had a dz red roses sent to Jo.

If you recall last week David told Jo that Zack had a crush on her friend on Mia, and yes Jo confronts David on it tonight. Alright David needs to step it up to to remain in the game per Jo. How about this....instead...kick his sorry ass to the curb, where it belongs!! I can't stress this enough!

In the house you have Lucas, David, and Zack. Who will be the 4th to stay???

I am doing a smashing job at catching all of the episodes thus far. So Jo had another 3 men to date. Her dates this week were a photo shoot, man made snow and sledding, and perfume making. This was a very good episode, why? Well the men this go around seem better and the date ideas were cool. I don't like what Slade did however in the elimination ceremony. He went man by man and told each one what Jo didn't like about them. That came out of left field. And was not cool at all. Bad move Slade! She first eliminated the most down to earth guy from MN, (Steve) who did the snow date with her. Then she was torn between the photo shoot guy and the perfume guy (Andra) . She opted for the photo shoot guy. I think she should have selected Andra the perfume date, however she didn't. Oh well. So now we are up to 3 men living in Slade's home along with Slade. My only question is when are they/Jo going to ditch David? I haven't liked him since I laid eyes on him. Like I said, it was a better episode. Till next week.

If all goes well I hope to do a weekly recap. So this was week 2 and she had 3 more dates. On here dates she played golf, went to a shooting range and listened to one of the man's bands play. It is a no brain that she quickly got rid of the man who took her to the shooting range then it was up between the singer and the golfer (if you will). It was a very tough call, however she chose the man who took her golfing. Good choice if you ask me. However David from last week still remains in the house. Why the heck, I have no clue. He was even more of a dick/pompous ass this week then last. If you ask me, he/David from week 1 is only trying to further himself and doesn't truly care for Jo. Note to Slade: Convince Jo to kick David to the curb as quickly as possible.

Alright, I caught the premier and it was so so. As it is said many times throughout the entire show (60 min long) yes, it is odd to have your ex now manager help you select a new love. On a scale from 1-10 with 1 being worse and 10 being best, I rate this a 4.4. I will do my best to catch the show every week, only because my heart lies with RHOC and Jo and Slade are originally from RHOC. If you ask me, you can see there is still something between Jo & Slade. I wish they would just cut the crap and get back together. Yes when they were together it was a lot of back and fourth, however I just feel Jo & Slade are meant to be together for the long haul. On that other show, she and ex-fiance Slade Smiley agreed to just be friends and she moved to L.A. to pursue a music career (yeah, right). So now she's the center of a bizarre version of "The Bachelorette," where all the contestants have to live at Slade's house while they date her. Two big problems: Jo is a brainless spoiled brat - and Slade is a smirky jerk who obviously wants to be the one who winds up with Jo. Save us all a lot of time: Cut straight to the inevitable Slade-Jo wedding, followed by the reality series devoted to their divorce. Here's the question: Would these people even exist if a TV camera wasn't pointed at them?

Can't get enough of The Real Housewives of Orange County? Neither can we! The Bravo hit may have wrapped up its second season, but there's still lots to gossip about when it come to the ladies of Coto de Caza. Star's Shira Levine spoke to Jo De La Rosa for the scoop on her on-again-off again relationship with Slade Smiley, her music career and the future of the show.

Do you like being the villain on the show? I didn't really mean to do it on purpose, it just kind of happened. I think there are lot of people, they either love me or love to hate me. There is never an between. I definitely want everyone to like me and that's not the reality of it. I also think the show cuts everything in a way that makes for really good TV. Sometimes it's not me and sometimes it's me. I am human and I have feelings too, so I can get an attitude and defend myself.

So is there any chance of you getting back together with Slade? Right now we're broken up. I'm newly single. I'm having fun being on my own, being single and coming into my own again. I lost who I was... I forgot my own goals and ambitions. It wasn't until I removed myself from that house and that relationship that I was able to see what had happened.

What about your music career? Will Slade still manage you? He isn't going to be my manager as much as my partner. He kind of oversees my best interests with contracts and makes sure they are working for my benefit. There is no one else I trust for that. He has my best interests at heart. We are broken up, but we still love each other.

Do you ever get together with the other ladies from Real Housewives? No. Actually, I don't see them at all anymore. It's more like we're in two different places now. They are in the suburbs raising families and with kids and I'm in L.A. with my career. If I do see them I will say "Hi" and give them a hug.

What about you and Shane? I don't ever see Shane. We've gone out a few times and partied, but we never actually keep in contact anymore. I know a lot of people wanted me to hookup with Shane. I still think he is hot. I'm sure he thinks I am a mess and that my life is a total mess!

Do you and JJ still hang out? We don't. We had a fall out and I just decided to move out and move into my own place. I found a new roommate. She is the cutest. Her name is Morgan and she is an actress.

Do you miss that great big house? Having no walk-in closet makes me really sad. It's a welcome back to reality. Two bedrooms, two baths, no walk-in closet... it makes me really sad. Welcome back to reality. But I've never been happier. I am taking dance classes again. I'm doing what I loved again.

Will there be another season of Real Housewives? There is nothing official. There are talks maybe about it. I don't know what they will end up doing, but there is gossip now. Nothing is official.

If there's one thing Jo De La Rosa of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Orange County" wants to make known, it's that former fiance Slade Smiley is not her manager, as has been reported. "He's not anything to do with business. I don't know why people thought he was my manager, but he's not," she tells us. "If anything, Slade's been my guide for the last couple of years," she adds. "If I had any question on contracts or decisions I've had to make, I would go to him. He's also been there if I ever needed a little push or whenever I had some self-doubt."

The status of the two will certainly become clear when her "Date My Ex" reality show premieres on Bravo July 21. Besides serving as her supportive friend as she works on recording an album, he'll be seen acting as her guide in a much more personal sense as he sizes up her prospective boyfriends.

De La Rosa acknowledges that their relationship continues to be a big topic for most fans. "I went through a lot of hard stuff with Slade on the 'Housewives' show. We broke off our engagement on that show, which was hard to do in front of America. Every day I feel like I have someone coming up to me telling me what I should have done or not to be so hard on Slade. They're either Team Jo or Team Slade."
